Jordan Provost is Assistant Director of Bands at Carrollton Schools where he team-teaches instrumental music courses and is the choral director at Carrollton Middle School in Carrollton, Ohio. He graduated from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio in 2017 with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education degree. Previously he has served as the Apprentice Conductor for the Canton Youth Symphony Advanced Orchestra and as Assistant Band Director at Rootstown High School.
In addition to public school teaching, Provost serves as the Organist and Handbell Choir Director at Massillon First United Methodist Church and is the Associate Conductor for the Canal Fulton Community Band, Inc. In 2018, Provost was selected as Rookie Teacher of the Year for Carrollton Schools and was the 2016 recipient of the Kent State Alumni Association Golden Flash Award.
Provost is a fifth-generation farmer and resides on the family farm in Navarre, Ohio with his wife Alisha and their two dogs, Jasper and Ruby.
